If your suspension is stock, you could do alot worse. Higher ride height = higher CG = more rise = more weight transfer. You can add a ton of grunt, before ride height becomes an issure.
Higher in the back end just makes it harder to get the weight up and over the CG... if the rear was WAY lower it would be easier to transfer the front weight back
Higher ride height creates dynamic rise. That is one of the design elements of SS springs. Too low or too high isn't an issues with a lower powered car. Add power and converter flash, and you're better off with a higher (within tuneability parameters) rear ride height. This is off course, leaf springs.

You could replace the rear shackles with sliders. That should get you lower about an inch.
x2
While that would help... and I like them.... but he needs ALOT MORE than 1" lower.... I can ALMOST drive my car under his...LOL

Go, your car is awesome, one of a handful of my Moparts favs. HOWEVER. If your car was a leaf spring, 11.10 45-55% deal that low, you wouldn't win many rounds here, in "the track gets zero prep land" AGAIN, 12.50 and slower, it could be up with the IDS Tower, and down low like yours, without much consequence. Merry Christmas.

iv to a 67 cuda notch, stock style 340 leafs,
What are "stock style 340 leafs" in your opinion? Judging by the ride height, I'd say they aren't too stock at all.
Before knowing what you should do, I'd think understanding what you have would be the first step. Perhaps someone put SS springs under it at some time. Perhaps an add a leaf was stuck in there. I've seen on this board where someone kluged together some Mustang leaf springs to fit under a A body because they were too cheap to spring for the correct mopar springs. What is actually under there could be a broad range of things.
So, do you know if the leaves have been swapped from something other than original? What is the leaf count? Are all the leafs the same thickness? I'd say we need more information on what your leafs are before we could say swap, drop, or chop them up.
