Not really!....just coincided with the Christmas season! I finally scraped up enough money to have my Edelbrock RPM's ported..and milled for a compression increase of 1 point..10:1 to 11:1. Might just get me into the 10's next season! I'd like to publicly thank Jeff at Modern, for the cnc work, and cutting them not only once...but twice(my over-sight)for the correct chamber volumes! Thank You for your patience,Jeff! He also milled the intake manifold to match the head cut. As is the norm for Jeff's work...impeccable craftsmanship! I'm also sending some engine pieces to QC for some powder coating,and headers will be ceramic-coated. Dom..flow sheet reads(@28")221cfm-I..159cfm-E @ .300 lift. 316cfm-I..220-E @ .600 lift...and 322/223 @ .650 lift. Lindsay,I got them back in 2 weeks! Eddie,look forward to that! Yep, then it`s 10.50`s then 20`s then 9.99............ah yes, the fun never stops just the money does.

Dom...I'd say my budget stops at 10.999!...with a fresh paint job and replacing/refurbishing ALL the stainless trim that comes on the GTX's!!...NOT CHEAP! Trust me..10.90's and a NEW GTX...I will be a HAPPY CAMPER!

As you should be............. That`s why I wont paint my ugly heap because that money could make me faster which to me is cool especially when some people think my car is an 11-second ride.

It`s a sleeper till I start it............then the 275-280 duration @ .050 kicks in and it`s over.

Thus justifying the name "ThumperDart"!!!

You wont be dissapointed Randy, the swap from mild port big valve 346 heads and a torker manifold, to Jeff's RPM'S cut.050 and a victor manifold dropped my car over .6 and picked up 6mph.
