Does anyone remember an article back in the late 90's
In I believe Mopar Action titled" In the eights".
Featuring a maroon 75-76 Feather duster, leaf spring car,
With a B1 motor, and Omalley system on it?
A pic of the article? Or pics of the car?
It was a beatiful car . And at the time there
Weren't to many leaf cars running that fast.
Thanx guys.

I think it was Roger Laudy's (sp?) car. I should be able to dig up the article.

I still have all the old KOS magazine articles too! I remember seeing that car run at Rockingham back in the KOS's early years, nice car! It's cool that he still has it.

I wish the Bowman's would bring their black cuda back out. Sheila kept telling me it was gonna be back. It's been a few years since I asked her about it, still no sign of it.

Remember that car before he bought it. Watched Denny (Denny-did-it) paint "feather duster" on it one night at the local A&W, car was black back then. Also, we had the motor out at the barn fixing some of the AV input.
Haven't seen that car or Ray, the guy that owned it, in 15 or 20yrs. Did I just say that? I must be gettin old

No it was not back halfed, just trimed the rear rails up and put some tubes in it.Roger had 10.5w on it.He added a rack and a few things but still looks alot like the pictures above.

Lenny the guys that did the back half on my pops cuda put a mustang 2 front suspension under it about 1999-2000, and I thought he put a 4 link with the stock frame rails? That car is why I built my duster, I loved it when I was younger

One day I will have something cool here.

We drug my buddy (Keith Melchert) 70 Dart down to Mopars at the Rock in I think 96 or 97 and took 1st in EZ street class beating I think it was Gray in his 68 or 69 Dart. What a blast and it was awesome seeing all the wicked KOS cars of the day. Bill May 71RR,Brian Hicks Challenger (caught on fire bummer), and I cant remember everyone elses name but the Red 72-74 Hemi Cuda, and Yellow 69 RR Hemi and watching Richard Omallie tuning the Cuda was cool. We ran one of Richards plates on the Yellow Dart at the time. Those cars all ran super hard for what they were.

Mopar to the bone!!!
