I'm looking for a good set of axle straps to tie down a race car. They will be used on a sprint car and possibly a full steel road race car.
There's some serious cheap garbage out there as well as some overpriced stuff.
What do you guys use when dragging your race car around?

Bought mine from summit, they sell them as a kit 4 tie downs and 4 axle straps. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CMB-29-0012/ Never had a problem and there not the cheap ones. Kevin
I use those also. I don't like that they are so stiff. I use them up front with the military ones out back on my open trailer. If I had a choice I'd try and get another set of military ones.

I'd look around and see if there are any businesses near you that sells truck tie downs. I've used the Summit tie downs and didn't like the stretch I was getting. Took them to a local truck place that makes them to have them rewebbed. They replaced this hardware... The new hardware didn't have the sharp edges.
