My son found this last night on you tube. Was frist round runner up but was happy with the progress. Only got two qualifying hits and one other pass all weekend. First two shots we found a problem with the ignition. So on the last qualifying pass we moved the timing curve back to where we started. Pulled a little for this pass but still have 8 degrees coming out for 1.25 seconds. Sure wish we could have had a couple more shots. I shifted a tad late and car did not pink up any first round but we did go 162+ in 3400' DA.

That was a damn close race... I thought for sure you crossed the line first, but the flashing light went to the other lane..

Just gave up to much at 60'. From the 330' on my splits are quicker and I had a couple MPH on him. I was reeling him in but we gave up a almost a tenth(.095)in 60'.

Like I say had we had the other two qualifiers I feel we could have gotten more agressive with the car. As it was I wanted to make sure we got down the track and was hoping getting him on the tree would get me by. Almost but not quite. Had it been a 1330' race I would have gotten around him

Bob,Thanks for the compliemt. Dustin hardy har har Given the stripe away has worked so well at LVMS I thought I would try it again. Apparently in the heads up world it never works. Who knew
