because on the street, traction, typically, isn't as good as at the track, so most cars benefit from having an extremely loose front end to help get weight onto the back tires.....

Listening to the car run I would say he is taking advantage of some really good engine power management.

Stuff that can watch and adjust driveshaft speed is very helpfull. It appears they are good at using it. I would like someone to implement a G-meter style traction control. Actually I have plans on making it. Got to get something together to try it on.
