With the driver in the car, I have the car on the scales and wondered if the final setting should have equal weight setting on both back tires?

yes as a starting point. some add 25-35 lb preload on right rear but all cars are different and it might takwe more or less to keep it straight

Next time out to the track see if it goes to the
right on the launch... if so ADD some preload to the
right rear tire

I have the l/f about 1/2inch taller than the r/f. The car has a 48/52 ratio. The left or right rear is about 25# more on the right. I guess I might be close. Thanks
