Looking at a 1989 D100 with a bad V6 and 5 speed. Will a 360 bolt up to the trans and can I get rid of the computer.

That v6 shares the same bolt pattern with any other small block v8 so you're good there. If you run a carb and distributor you can bypass the computer completely. 360 at a minimum will need a different flywheel. Don't know if that trans will take a 360's torq.

might want to look at the motor mount locations on the frame,IIRC a v-6 mount is diff from a SB v-8 and driver side mount bolts in place on the frame.

may need to find the sb v-8 piece to bolt to frame for the swap..not positive on this but 87 is the last yr to bolt a BB in like stock and my 88 frame had a bolt in v-8 mount i sold to someone that wanted to swap to v-8...mopar jamie i think

use 360 fly wheel and the trans will bolt up
