what do you guys run for motors, how much cubic inches? whats your wheelbase? how much hp and torque are you making ruffly? what kinda of et do you run in the 1/8 and 1/4??

hi dave,ihad a 511 b1 sheetmetal tunnelram two 1050 carbs the motor made over 900 estimated i ran a 7.81@176 and 5.08 . the wheelbase is 100 and i hav e a lenco with a clutch.the new motor ia a best machine 588 pso it makes 1215 and 907 torque.i am putting the car back togeather it will be out next season.i am putting electric shocks in it,i had a new wing made with a tall wickerbill.it is a wild ride with the clutch it spins thetires on the gear changes. later johnny

mine is kinda slow havent really tuned it in good yet 369 ci R3 Indy head SB 6.07 114 1/8 too much rear gear for the 1/4 but lifting at about 1000ft 9.85 at 114 running the converter that came with the car PG trans same engine went 10.46 @ 128 6.59 @ 104 in my 3200 lb 70 dart

i know there are more than us 2.im wondering how much horse power you can put to these cars,with the short wheelbase.

The one I just sold was 102" wheel base 572 B1's with 300 shot ran 4.70's

Mine's gonna be small motored and slow, but quite a few people suggested that I extend the wheelbase when we were doing the front end.

Mine will probably never go over 120 unless it falls out of a helicopter.
