Is anyone having proplems getting them to fire when installed,simple instructions,but box checks bad,they sent me a new box,but it checks bad also, i seem to be lost,or a complete dummy

i'll go out on a limb here and say you're not doing something right. MSD is pretty reliable stuff and to have 2 brand new units be bad?? give some details of your wiring and what it's on............

Mike, it is on a 72 duster with a 360 crate engine,had stock electronic ignition, the system is simple just plug in the master plug to the boc 2 wires to the coil, the wires to the dist, ground to the battery, positivwe to the batt hot, ignition 12v from the switch,i know i have installed many of the 6al,7al, but something is just not right thanks for the reply

My kid put his 6 digital in about 5 years ago.No problems at all.I run the 6 AL in my 65 and no problems after 10 years.Rocky

After talking to msd don't know how many times,they were great helping, but finally they said they were having trouble with the wiring harness,these are completely new systems, no more 6al with chips wow

I couldn't get TWO MSD E-curve distributors to work.

Talked to MSD at SEMA, they said later production E-curves are not working with thier SS Solid State coils. The one AndyF ran in the Mopar Muscle article must have been an early unit... Put on a old fashioned round coil... Works awesome! Better than the brand new MP distributor and orange box I had laying around.

They are going to replace my SS coil with a Blaster II.

GOT THE WIREING HARNESS IN FRIDAY THE 18TH ,FIXED THE PROBLEM,CALLED MSD AND ADVISED THEM IF ANYONE GETS A DIGITAL 6AL BOX AND HAVE PROBLEMS GETTING IT TO OPERATE PROPERLY,MORE THAN LIKELY THE WIREING HARNESS
