I know there are some guys on here that have messed with 5.7 Hemi conversions, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this? What is all needed to convert a 5.7 truck engine to a car engine? I'm talking about the front timeing cover/waterpump parts. are the pullies different? What about the alt, and A/C pumps? Does anyone have a list of the parts needed for the conversion?

Thanks.

I have a 5.7 hemi out of a Charger and have looked at photos of the front of a truck hemi. From what I can see there are alot of things that are different starting with the timing cover, water pump, belt tensioner, dip stick, alternator, and I am sure there is more. If you were to buy all the stuff you would need new from the dealer it might add up to more than an entire junk yard car 5.7, I got mine for $500 over a year ago prices keep going down.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I wish there was a place I could look up part #'s and cross referance them with other models.

Thanks
