I have a '73 charger which suffered storm damage and I need a new vynal roof. Legendary has sever different types. What is the correct type/grain. Thanks

This page in the 1973 dealer trim book should help. It specifies which ones came on the SE. Thanks to www.hamtramck-historical.com.

Brian,
The correct grain for your Charger is cobra grain. Here's a link to some pics:

Legendary should have that top.

Legendary has white and black tops. SMS fabrics has NOS vinyl in other colors but they are pricey. RT Specialties has a clip set for the trim. I'm going down this road myself. It is a job to take all the trim and inside trim off. The driprail trim is a royal pain. I had to blend in the inserts on mine because they showed terrible under the original top. Good luck with it.

Only the 73/74 Charger SE models used cobra grain, all other 71/74 Chargers used Boar grain
