My new job takes me to the Detroit are quite often, does anybody know the address in Hamtramck where my two cudas were made. A guy told me at the Detroit city airport that there was an old Chrysler factory on the backside of it. Also what is made at the Jefferson st. plant near downtown and what used to be made there.

Hamtramck is no more, it was razed in 1981 and the GM "Poletown" assembly was built on the site (plus other land). nothing left there to see.
Detroit Axle is at 6700 Lynch Road, sort of behind Detroit City airport. It closed in 2010 (the plant was moved to Marysville, Mich.)
The plant borders Mt. Elliott Street, where there was a tool and die plant, and Mound Road, which once hosted an engine plant; it is across the street from the old Lynch Road Assembly Plant.
Alpar.com has an extensive recap of current and closed Chrysler plants, it would be useful to check if exploring.

Second part of your question; Jefferson Assembly makes all Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos.
In its past, it was traditionally the source for full size Chrysler models (C-Body and prior) but also made Desotos, Imperials, M Bodies and others in its long history. The original buildings are long gone, though they did include parts of the old showroom in the new building.
