I recently converted a 950HP to E85. It idles and run great at full throttle. When I bring the rpms and then lift off the throttle the car wants to go lean and stumbles. At idle I am 1.00 lambda. Do I need to change the idle air bleeds? Any suggestions? The carb is set up as followed-

88/94 jets
.045 squirters
50 cc accelerator pump primary
30 cc accelerator punp secondary
4.5 power valve
.026 high speed air bleeds
.060 idle air bleeds
.130 needle and seat
Cast e85 metering blocks

418 cid
12.2:1 compression
3720 w driver

you are to lean at idle at 1.0

richen that up some .85 is a good place to be cruising around.

have you double checked the float levels to make sure the arent to high

you may be able to fix it with the 4 corner screws

I would try it with a .056 IAB and readjust 4 corner idle. Start at 1.5 turns and work from there. How far open are your throttle blades? If they are too far open this could have too much transfer slot exposed and cause some issues.

Also who did the metering blocks for you? Do you know what IFR they put in it?

Air fuel mixture screws are currently at 1.5 truns out. Primary throttle blades are adjusted to were the transfer slot is just exposed and the secondaries were adjusted to get the idle set. The metering blocks are from Justus Daniel at Race On E85, but not sure on the IFR.

Adjust the idle mix With a vac gauge instead.
