If You can help identifying or finding correct door ajar switches that mount behind the door.
On my wiring harness there are female bayonett type connectors 1/4" size. On both sides they were connected to 90deg angled contact with 1" long plastic ribbed pin - I assume it is an internal part of switch - the rest is gone
any idea?

Unfortunately those plastic switches are'nt being repoped...They function just like a metal door jamb switch but the plunger was plastic{with a secured metal ring for grounding} to keep from chipping the paint too much...A few alternatives until someone steps up would be...
A} Use the normal metal door pin switch
B} Use a {dare I say it} Chevy plastic door pin switch from one of the many types out there...{do a search even on Ebay you'll see them}
C}strike gold and find an NOS or good used...

I'd prefer option C myself but have'nt come across any for a loong time...

I did have pics of an original door ajar switch but have'nt found it yet...I'll keep digging...

This topic has come up before here but after searching I can't find the thread. I did however download some pics for my own use, that others had taken of the switches.

Apparently the switch from a mid-80's GM Astro Van is similar. Part # 15674628.

Another pic of the GM switch. (to whoever took these pics originally, thanks for the pics, and the tip about the GM switch!)

Simple, buy six more & the missing ones will turn up within a couple days...
