so i figured out what some of the noises in my car are. the lower leg on the clutch z-bar is hittiong my TTI header. there is no room to move it anywhere else. its aready within a 1/4 of my starter.

so my thought was to make a longer pushrod from the pedal to the top leg on the z-bar. longer by about 3/4 inch to keep the z-bar off the header.

why wouldnt this work?

is there a readily availible pushrod that would do this?

any other solutions?

car is a 70 duster, 360, 4 speed, lekewood bellhousing, tti headers.

Had to grind some material off the end of the arm and bend it slightly to clear the TTI's. Must have had it in n out a dozen times.
