Hey Guys,

I just bought a year one repro heater control valve for a 70 challenger to get the heater operational in an a/c car... but the bracket doesn't come with it.
Does anyone know if the year one style valve (all metal, pic attached) will work with an original style bracket ?

I don't want to go out and buy a bracket to find out it only works with the original bakelight style control valve...

Thanks, Shawn

I was missing both the water valve and bracket for my project, i found a 318 parts car complete with bracket and a metal valve, later on I tracked down a bakelite valve and the bracket bolts up to both, so you should be good to go.

Might try Bill Rolick. He's a member here. i bought one at the Mopar Nats for my Heater controler but it was different than whats pictured. Mine has a vacuum line that attaches to it. If I remember right, isnt the one pictured for the cable operated?

Anyway, I'd try him
