Bringing my Heep to the track tomorrow morning.

Ran the car in april and it went 10.92 at 121
on the motor 9.88 at 136 on the juice

motor is a 340/416 about 10 to 1 solid cam nothing to fancy

Since then I switched the top end on my motor went from ported eddy heads and 1 3/4 headers m1 intake to Indy Cnc 360-2's TTI 1 7/8ths headers and Indy intake Same 950 Pro systems carb

Any guesses what I should pick up in ET with that change?

I know on the street the car feels like a whole new animal I've owned this car 18 years and it's never had this much giddy up with just the loud peddle before

I'm gonna run the motor only and might hit the juice at the end of the day

Good luck! What track do you go to up there? My wife is from Dracut...near Lowell. Would be cool to go a track next time we're up that way.

Car didn't pick up anything on the motor other then one mile an hour

But it picked up huge on the juice at the end of the day

Went 9.59 at 139 with a 1.36 60 ft from 10.95 at 122 on the motor

Then the track gave me the boot

I will have some video tomorrrow

Not bad for a 3480lb street car

That's a pretty good first outing. I'm sure there is more ET and mph to be had with tuning. Almost 140!

Thanks guys

I'm pretty happy with the new best and the way the car ran on the juice. Wish it was a little faster on the motor

best I could muster was 10.95 at 122 with a 1.59 60ft

But Hot damm did the car pick up with the spray

almost 20 mph and 1.36 second increase with the juice.

Nice numbers.....

With the gear and converter required to spary, it's tough to show that N/A power.

Looks good man, nice runs! Interesting it didn't pick up on motor...the bigger heads may want a looser converter? Not an issue though since you spray mostly right?

Yes I agree the converter could be looser for the motor but locks right where it needs to be on the spray Thats the way lenny made the converter to realy haul the mail on the juice

I'm suprised the motor didn't make any more mph with the head change

But it was enuff to get me bounced from the track

Runing in the 9's witout all the NHRA BS that goes along with it
