Interesting so were spares body colored to match the rest or were they just black. I have the original spare and the steel wheel was black so does that mean anything or not?

it was between mid april and early may-people with access to database buildsheets should be able to work out a more accurate date. all the best frank
for what it's worth, Frank Badalson told me february '71 was the changeover date for going with black wheels - before that they were body color.
