If the rain holds off this weekend records should fall. It was -563 ft. when comp eliminator took their first pass. Here are first round results from Pro Stock so don't look if it will ruin your day. Check out the times for the top 3.

Is that really any worse that the Mopar guys switching to first-gen Neon bodies when that particular body style had already been out of production for at least a year?

P/S has evolved so far from anything I can relate to that it doesn't even interest me anymore, and it was absolutely the only class I even cared about for years.

Never mind - not intending to get off the intent of the OP's post.

Same hear. The Pro Stocks are getting like funny cars..........they all look the same and even the engines dont look like anything the factory makes. I like the NSS and like to go to NSS races. That said I do hope AJ & VN do good as they are really nice people. Good luck to them. Ron

My mistake -579FT. Winter must be coming. I think some of you guys would argue over " Is water really wet "

Those times and speeds are amazing. I remember when top fuel dragsters ran 6's and 200 mph. I think Kris Karamasinis still claims to be the first to 200mph.

LOL.. Is a really cold ice cube wet if it doesn't leave a wet spot? LOL Pitts, you are right, though... I love the Dodges first, of course, but I really would like to see Greg Stanfield win one before the year is up. He bought our FireCores starting the Norwalk Race. Thanks for the heads up !!

I'm with Brad, and Ron! Give me the mid-70's Pro Stock racing ANY DAY! Hemi Dusters of Ronnie Sox,Mc Candless,Reid Whisnant,Butch Leal...Dandy Dick in his Dart Sport,up against "The Grump" in his Vega's and Monza's,Bob Glidden,Gapp & Roush, and Dyno Don in their Ford's! Definately the Golden Age of Pro Stock racing! Man,I miss those days!
