What carb is this? I can get it for $160 and it ran on a Corvette 350ci (owner decided to get rid of the carb as it was too big).
I wanna run it on my 440.

It's a 750. is it a 4150 (double pumper) or a 4160?
Here are the numbers the guy gave me:

6R 6931 B
10569
P-80
4100

Thanks! What's the difference between a truck carb and a passenger car carb? I read that it is 'governed' - meaning very restrictive?

I have no idea.
But i would venture to guess internal jetting, metering block, or plate, between the two.

4150 has 2 metering blocks, 4160 has a block and a plate that cant be seen so the bowl attaches directly to the main body. Truck carbs usually had less emission fittings on them and were jetted fatter. They should have been an the smaller side considering truck motors were more low end power rther than high end breathing. That 76 427 was only used in a Kodiak or a Top Kick medium duty truck, and I bet those motors never saw more than 4000 RPM. May want to start from scratch on that carb, I mean look up jetting and metering for a 66 L72 corvette or Camaro and start from there. Governed most likely means that there is a throttle stop on the carb itself for those big box trucks. I would look further for a "Normal" 4150/4160 3310. They can be had for less than 150 and in sdtreet trim too, not 5 ton truck.

Here's the one on the 'bay. It appears to be 600 cfm. It's a vacuum secondary carb, good for the street. It's a 4150 meaning it has two metering blocks, which is good. It has a governor, which is bad, although it looks like either you could take the governor off or else replace the baseplate with one from an 1850 for not too much $. BUT, a used questionable carb for $160 is too much money. And a 600 cfm might be good for mileage, but for performance I'm thinking a 750 cfm 3310 would be worlds better.
