When this happens, the compensating port isn't uncovered at rest and the hydraulic pressure stays on. The test to prove this: Drive until the symptoms occur. Loosen the fitting at the master. brakes unlocked? See above! I hope you don't have those SSBC aluminum calipers (clones of K-H A-body iron). They have major problems. Rick

As far as why everything is new, there are plenty of people that feel new is better... Till a few experiences with new parts like this one... Then they start to see the value in reconditioning old parts.... These days, unfortunately, "new" often = "Chinese junk"
