we will have a prime spot for all the 10.5 racers and sponsors to pitt i will have the X10.5 event shirts there also once all the 10.5 cars are tech at the track (IRP tech) i will tech them for the 10.5 class and weights. I will hold a drivers meeting in my pitt spot sat morning to go over all rules and answer any ?'s look forward to seeing ya all there we get 2 hits friday and sat then go into Elims. Bob

Sweet, i get the bottom bunk,and i can tell you jack daniels storys so that you can go nite,nite!!....lol....really though save a spot for r open car trailor next to U,we had a great time hanging out with you in ohio!

We'll be calling the 10.5 class at the same time as Q32 Friday and Saturday. I have you pretty far back on the Friday schedule to give enough time for everyone to get prepared - Q1 around 11:30 - 12:00. Q2 should be between 2pm and 3pm.
Saturday you will be much further up in the schedule to give you 2 hits before elims. Figure Q3 by 10am and Q4 around 12:30 - 1pm. Bob keep in touch with me in the tower if you need anything. Should be a great time!

Josh did not get his car off the trailer at all friday that I saw anyway. Bird was front and center with his car all day long and I did not hear anyone challenge him to a race. Just people coming around checking it out and taking pictures. May has a fast car but is still figuring it out only has 30 runs on it. I thought Sailor may want some of the Bird but I guess not. The last time he talked trash at a Indy KOS Race Jims Charger shut him up. Should be a fun winter BIG BIRD is sharing info with the WARBIRD and its not just 3 liters of JD.

After numerous oildowns, cleanups and rain showers Saturday evening, we finally left at nearly 10:00 PM, and only 2 rounds of 10.5 had been completed, and the rain was starting up again.  One of Bill May's crew said that they beat Tony Russo in the second round, which I missed, but I did see Tony's car on the trailer. Here are a few pics from qualifying Saturday.

hey 2 pix of my car ( gold dart)
BIG SHOUT OUT TO JOSH & BOB(profab) & RICK(firecore)had a great time yesturday.the pits where packed,i got some pix of the show cars,tons of show cars showed up,swap meet area was huge,lots of vendors there too,i took 4 trips over there just to see everything,this was a huge event,you that couldnt make it---sorry--you missed out on a lot of cool mopars in one big area.
the quality of the cars that where there-show cars--drag cars-vendors-swap meet area---it was like MOPAR NATS

That 10.5 class was impressive! I enjoyed watching every one of those cars run..... you too Bird! Adams Demon was the standout to me though. Right down the groove pass after pass, that car was dialed in.
