Hi I have a Victor intake with a dual pattern on the mounting base. It looks like I would be able to bolt my thermoquad to it if I had it opened up to fit the thermo's throttle bore. Has anyone done this? I do have an adapter but it would be much nicer and shorter to use the mounting pad. Thanks!

We do that all the time on Super Stock engines with the standard Victor. It is rather labor intensive. Also for the best power once the mods are done we use about 5 of the thick base gaskets stacked up.
