I am speechless....

I will truly miss him, he was a internet friend for years and I doubt can ever replace such an individual as him.

What a shock to see first thing on Thursday morning. He will certainly be missed. Gary *was* Moparts to a lot of us. My prayers will certainly be with his family.

I think that nearly 500 replies from people, most from people who are basically total strangers, and almost 7500 views in 24 hours, speaks UNCOUNTABLE VOLUMES about the character of a man. A guy only has to consider that if the death of one man elicits such an outpouring of heartbreak and sadness from people who only had a small glimpse of him, how much deeper does the saddness/anguish run for those that knew him on a much deeper level? I dare not try to even imagine, the glimpse was far more than I could handle.

Allthough I too did not know him too well I still think I knew him.......

I caught RoadRnnr69's post about the news story and couldn't beleive it.

I met him a few years back at the nats. Awefully nice in person and on the boards.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Truly a sad day.
My sympathy goes out to his loved ones and others as well.

I really can't believe this has happened. Shock doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. Gary was one of the coolest people I have ever met and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. My thoughts and prayers to his entire family...

That is how I feel too. Sometimes bad things happen to good people and it always sucks. My words can't express my sympathy for his family.
His life is definetly worth celebrating.
I really enjoyed watching the progress of his car though this board. He always was willing to help people. Gary cannot be replaced but his way of treating everyone is worthy of being imitated.

Very bad news, there will be dark times ahead for his family and I really wish them the best. Very unfair, a dedicated family man doing his job gets struck down in the prime of his life. All because of a drunk driver.

Found out I lost my Aunt last night around 7:00PM now this too.........
