Alan,
I find that the SEM products, bulk or spray, are very good, better than Mopaints...
But when trying to match, exactly the shade you want,....esp. in spray can pkg.....it takes some trial and error testing the various shades/ colors that they offer......I think I went thru 5 different cans, before I found a dead on match for my Daytona's interior pcs that I needed to dye, to match my white Legendary door panels, seat covers, armrests, etc.........Mopaints, mixing a fresh mix, guarranteed me it would match my NOS, original factory white pcs, and Legendary's stuff, ....wasn't even close, plus it looked like mud,....the consitency was so thick, plus it cracked,......I was able to save some parts, cause the Mopaints "washed" off with soap and water after it was dry!....."good stuff"?
The SEM has been on for 3 yrs, no problems what so ever......they do have clears to go over the colors,....I'd recommend using which one you prefer, they have low gloss, high gloss, and satin lustre,.....the Satin lustre leaves the peice looking natural,.....plus protects the surface, and aids in cleaning......trust me.....with 2 white interior cars,....you learn the hard way, what works, and what dosen't
The SEM actualy appears to dye the surface, where as the Mopaints.....look like paint.....chessy looking
