Who makes a heater box stamp and what shade and brand of black would you use on it? Thanks

Has the stamps you need. I used krylon semi flat black, but the original was a little glossier than that.

If you paint it you lose the original finish with the little tiny fibers showing. Bead blast and semi clear coat.

A company names Restoration Full Circle has heater box/air grabber duct paint which is supposedly the dark gray not black that the parts are molded in.

they are in a current Year One catalog if you have one or want to just hit Google.

Another vote for clear coat. I only cleaned mine with Windex and coated it. All the stamps remained in place.

I agree; no paint....not sure why you'd need to clear coat it either, but whatever. Painting it looses the original look.

To do it correctly , you bead blast the casings and then clear coat them.
I use Eastwood Diamond Clear.
