I'm not a computer guy ,,I know I have pics of the install but can't find them..If you want to you could call me for more info..I at first put the motor in the stock chassis, get rid of the heater box and move the battery to the trunk, just for the room.Later I put the Volere,Aspen type front end in..actually from a Chrysler 5 th ave..great install and nice ride but the P/S box screwed up the headers, you can see the disc brake caliper in this picture..772-335-2709 Larry..the car ran a consistant 12.5 with a mild 440, with 906 heads..727 trans and an 8 3/4 rear.3;91 gears..will find out soon times with the 493...a lot stronger

What did you decide, Mike? I have a 56 2-door HT in the shop I'm thinking about doing this to. Got a line on a couple 56 Plymouths now too. It's a disease, I tell ya, a disease!

Decided to stick with the stock frame/suspension (a few details on the other thread). If you are planning a similar swap I should have details about the engine plate, headers, etc after 1/1/12. Once I find out exactly what works I will pass along the info. In fact, I plan on making a template of the engine plate for anyone else that is interested in going this route.
so how is the new project going?
