The machine shop pulled the dowels out of the decks of my block when they did the machine work. I dont have any on hand, do I need them? I can order them from Summit or Jegs.... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRG-4375/

I have another block that has them, if I could get them out, I would just use them.

So, do I order them or not?

Laine.

Yes you need them.

Most machine shop local to you should have some. Pull them from another block if you need em quick.

Thats what I thought. Thanks for the quick answer. Gotta love this place.

Luckily, Chevy uses the same size, so Im sure the local shop will have them on hand.
