Looks really good! Don't rule out a grounding problem with the lights on the dash, etc. If you didn't leave some bare metal somewhere at the mounting points of the dash frame, it may not be getting a good ground. Paint is a good insulator. I usually leave a small circle nekkid under the bolt in the kick panel area, and the backside of the dash frame where it slides over that bolt gets left nekkid also. Then I use dielectric grease at that point to insure a good connection and to prevent rust. That may not be the problem at all, but just an idea. Keep up the good work.

You are correct about the black up front, yes they did it so you wouldn't see the red when veiwed from the side, and yes, it was a poor job, mine looked the same. You'll also notice that they didn't get much red paint under yours, mine also looked the same. Most people add a lot more body color under the wheel wells than the factory ever did (often leaving a lot of bare metal and thin primered areas) when repainting their cars, this will make the color show even more, making the blackout even more important to cover it up.

Thanks guys! I was able to get the undercoating done today, along with final install (loctite & torqued) of the rear end assy. The undercoating turned out really good, although its a little more thorough than the factory did in spots. JDmopar, I'll be sure to give the grounds a thorough check befoe pulling the cluster. Here's a before picture of the wheelwell. Say bye bye virgin sheetmetal..

Looks AWESOME!
I must be the only one to notice that Scott removed the hood scoops he's got a thing for making sure 340 cars don't have hood scoops!!
I will never understand why Mopar didn't give 340 cars the scoops. They look so much better on then off (unless you have the Twister strobe stripe or the Wedge stripe).

Here is the after picture. Its coming together nicely. Time to reinstall the exhaust. Then bolt on the calipers, bleed the brake system, and break the cam in!
Brent, the rear shackles are facing the wrong way, nut should be outward.

Thanks Blue I kinda thought something didn't look right. I just noticed Scotts photoshopping, LOL, now I know what it will look like when I find a good hood locally. Today I was able get off work early and took my daughter to get ice cream. After that I was able to get my calipers detailed and installed. I also found a nice rear view mirror in my parts stash to replace my bad original one. I'm going through all the assemblies one by one and rechecking that all fastener's are properly torqued.
