Ya know I was kinda bummed that I didn't have it done by July 1st. Then I read that and realized I can still get it done in close to a year. Thanks Pollack and Dave for the motivational words. Hot August Nights starts in 2 weeks, so hopefully the wagon will find a new home with lots of buyers in town. The $ from the wagon will literally allow me finish the Duster. Everything left is stuff I can buy new. I finally got the the grille, the turn signal lenses, and the headlight bezels all painted. I unmasked the grille but still have to detail it. I'll post pictures once its done.

Thanks for the kind words Mu! Next...I don't know. I really want another 70 Swinger 340...and I think I could put together a Hemi Dart if I sold the Duster So who knows whats next. The Demon is to teach my kids welding and metal work when they get a little older so it will have to wait. Honestly getting my garage cleaned and organized (again) is probably highest on my list. The AMX? It made its big debut at AMC national show here in June. Its the 4th one up in the picture. I've been driving and getting miles on it. Although its a pretty impractical car when you have two young kids, since only 1 can go at a time.

I finished the lower control arms this morning. I had to replace the bushing twice and the pivots because of a dumb mistake.. I got them coated today and once they're done drying into the car they go! I used the matte clear to help with adhesion since I had coated the arms with RPM by mistake.
I have saw several times in your thread were you say you coated them with RPM. Most likely a stupid question but what is RPM? BTW you have a very very nice duster coming together! I love the detail work you are putting into it. Matt

Thanks Matt! RPM is a bare metal coating. It is supposed to preserve the bare metal and keep it looking that way for years. It was created by some former Moparts members. 1 small tub was enough to my Duster and then some. http://ecsautomotive.com/rpm.php
