I have it at the house, I could measure them when i get out at work later tonight if no one post. Also when using the keys I ran into a little problem with them. I used the 16* keys and only had 14* of mech advance when i install the dist. and tested it with my timing light. I then used the 18* keys and had 16* of mech advance

Great keys...Not. Okay, then I may need the 22* key also. I should then see the measure diffrens between them also. I could easy set other degrees if needed. Would be super nice if you could measure the 18, 20, 22 then. Thanks for the trouble shooting also.

You would be looking for the 12* key (you want to key in the difference between your initial and the total). I too have seen that the keys are a little undersized, in that I had to use the 18* key plus a little slop to achieve 16 degrees of advance. My set starts at 14*. Here's what my caliper says on the 14, 16, & 18 degree keys: 14*: .140" 16*: .155" 18*: .170"

Thanks, jepp I know but It save you some time if you are right first time I probably go for the 22* end up with 20* because it wasent any super duper accuracy. Hope to end up with 13-14* initial and total 33-34*

Reviving the dead here a little. I just bought a small block dist and it didn't come with the advance keys (I assume that is a seperate kit). With the adjustments maxed out as it comes from the box, this should be 24* mechanical correct? The dist number is 3690426, and it has a thin brown spring and a thick silver spring on the advance just as an FYI. If I'm reading the graph above correctly, it should be all in by about 2800 rpm, yes? Travis..
