Snoddas OP enthusiast Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 393 Sweden	Hi, Anyone know of any stock looking substitute for the metal fan shroud (62-65 b-body 22" radiator). Do any other mopar 22" fan shroud fit okay? 1964 Dodge 330 Max Wedge clone 1965 Dodge Hemi A990 clone

topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,773 A collage of whims	Supposedly the Aspen slant-6 plastic shroud installed upside down is a good fit. As for a metal shroud, there was one for the late-'60s 22" radiator but it's apparently as rare as the early one.

I cut a trimmed this one to make it work the best I could with this aluminum rad in my 63 Plymouth. Ron

I am in a world of crap when it comes to finding a shroud. I have a corvette radiator that is like 16 inch high with a 23 inch wide core for my dakota. I can't find anything. I must be missing something.

nd65 pro stock N Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,412 E Central IN	I have the Aspen slant 6 shroud upside down on mine. The caution tab is now on the bottom. I cut it off. You will need to fab the mounts a bit.

The determining factor is usually cost,everyone list them for more money as Max Wedge fan shrouds which they are not,the two piece metal shroud was used on A/C equipped cars 62/65 and later maximum cooling packages until the change to the molded one piece shroud.

nd65 pro stock N Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,412 E Central IN	Aspen/Volare should be the same. I run mine upside down so it is offset to match the car. You will need to fab the mounting. Not a big deal. It is not factory correct but is cheap and effective. I don't really care about being "correct" on every aspect of my car. Good luck.
