I have heard nothing but Good things about BDS, there is another blower Company, the blower shop, billet cases. and there about the same price as others, http://www.theblowershop.com/
lets see some pictures of the cuda.
i guess i'm really going to need to research all these different blowers.
here is a pic of the cuda. hasnt made it out of the garage yet though. its just a bunch of free or cheap junk thrown together. when i scaled my challenger, i weighed the cuda and it was 900 lb lighter but was missing a bunch of stuff like windows, seats, driveshaft and exhaust

Honestly, best bang for the buck is "www.thesuperchargerstore.com" and one of their Procharger kits. They make more hp than a 6-71 even on a mild tune, and they are easier to fit in the engine bay and under a hood. I love the SMRE reverse mount system they make for them on the big blocks...

the problem there is i think FI is better suited for prochargers and turbos and that adds alot o the cost. so much so that i may as well buy a 10k wipple

Just to add some balance to the conversation, I never had any problems with my BDS 8-71. It was just an unstripped stage 2 blower. Trust me, it will make way more power than you can handle on the street.

Just picked my motor up yesterday from Bartons. Has an 8-71 stepped up from a 6-71 a few years ago; did spin slower and made less heat. Also when I spoke to Indy about their Modman intake they told me that it would be the limiting factor in my motor; and that I was better off using their dedicated blower manifold and porting my Indy SR heads to match. Needed an intake that could accept injectors for my Fast XFI system on this motor.
