I went many years ago with a friend. It was a blast. He went rounds every day, but never into the big money rounds.

So......are some cheating? Does anyone go to the top end of the track and see if they're looking forward or at their opponent? Otherwise, anybody can win, and you shouldn't be intimidated. If they are cheating, it should be pointed out to track officials and mandated they do something about it, just be sure you are seeing them looking straight ahead at the end of the track. But, big$$$$ races are the most fun and the thing adrenylin rushes are made of.

Couldn't agree more. My dad just got down to three cars last weekend (in a well known Mopar point series race) in Super Pro and didn't even make his entry fee back. No problem right....it was only a 5 hour drive to get there.

I used to just stay local, until I got the chance to drive Stock and travel. Traveling to different places is fun but expensive. I do plan to attend the World Footbrake Challenge next year.

 They are RT'ing in the single digits and running dead on the number and you wonder if they are looking over??
How can you run dead on pedalling and why is pedalling cheating?

You wanna Race for Big $$$$....I'm talking ONE MILLION DOLLARS It's gonna be happening in just a few short weeks Oct 19-23 at MMP. You won't find a better hooking smoother track anywhere to run on. Both lanes are perfect they are within a .001 of each other. You might wanna bring your A+ game to this race.

We were there,car ran awesome on thursday night,every pass was within .004 but delay box issues kept us out of the money.
Digital Delay was there, they came to the car friday morning and straightened out the box for us, can,t thank them enough.
friday night we were the last door car in,made it to the semis and lost, car lost .009 on the 60 foot and got nipped by .002 at the strip,we had the tree but the car feel off,still pocketed 2G's and an engine diaper.
the car slowed down every round on saturday and we discovered water in the oil.
This year they ran door car against door car and dragster against dragster until they could no longer separate them which meant 1 door car left. The big winner was a door car on saturday err sunday morning, final round was run at 4:01 am
Hopefully some of you guys will join us next year,any day can be your day.
You'll have plenty of time to sleep when your dead, let's go

Nobody checks, there are several ways to hide counters in delay boxes and all kinds of ways to do it. And nobody and run single digit packages 6 or 7 times in a row. Wake up dude. If you go to the top end and watch the drivers, and they're not looking at the opponent, they need to be checked out. That's all I'm saying and having raced alot of these things and hearing all the comments in the pits, I know it goes on at he big money races. Perhaps you should get out more instead of racing your practice tree!

Tom...You are right!! Nobody checks..  I have seen S/P cars run in Pro and drive right back up to the lanes for the call for S/P...Think those guys pulled thier boxes out for Pro? Makes a fella wonder..  I ran a car a few weeks back that was double entered. I had an .030 light compared to his .003...And he ran a 9.36 on a 9.30 dial...Coincidence? Maybe...

It's not that hard to police. If they just put an official at the top end, and specifically had them monitor people that never watched their opponent's car, and tore those folks down, it would solve most of the problem. And as far as the idiots using delay boxes in pro, they just need to check the wiring to the transbreak or line lock. That's how they caught the guy in Boise. Then if they held a blanket party for said individules, it would be a deterent to cheating. OK I'm done.

I know people have been caught cheating before. I also know people say they hold numbers,but I also know its called mine games nothing but BS. It matters not how many numbers anyone is holding because if they use just one number They Break Out they lose you win unless of course you brought into the mind games and were trying to hold numbers yourself and broke out more.  That's what I like about having the faster car,I dial honest but cannot allow a cushion so if I catch you I can blimp the throttle just to be safe. I can say this a .020 and up light is not going to win you many rounds down here in the South in any Big $$$ races. If anyone has any of them secret boxes(I know some have them)PM me,I will make it worth you time.  After all its not cheating if you don't get caught.
