If you get the Mopar Chassis book it will tell you all
about it and how to correct it

Its just the height differences of the inner and
outer tie rods and lengths... they have you change
the heights.... once you do a toe curve you can
determine whats needed

Also being that the upper and lower control arms
are different in length and the different mounting
points(for cornering) the arc's are different so
it pulls inwards through the travel... thats why I
like a stutt suspension so much better

Aside from heating and bending.... are there other alternatives?? I know there are bumpsteer kits. Not many for Mopars... There is the Hotchkis kit. It is VERY NICE but also expensive.......

Do you have or can you get the mopar chassis book? maybe something on line about bump steer from the book. It's been years since I did mine , lost the book in Katrina.

I suspect in this particular case its well documented in the Chassis Book .. a good place to start, and THEN ask questions - its RTFM so to speak.

And a pipe wrench or long pipe big enough to slip over the lower ball joint arm and a torch can finish the job.

The book tells you to bend the arms on the lower ball joint..... you can use Rod ends in place of Tie rod ends now. I would like to find a way to make up this set up myself. The threads on the Mopars are 9/16 (Odd ball) so they do not lend themselves to any easy 5/8 Rod end conversion. There are no 5/8 to 9/16 sleeves availible.....

I have the manual, I have a torch with a rosebud.. I have a car I want to correct but I've never gotten comfortable with heating & bending suspension parts..... Should the parts be allowed to cool naturally or quenched? Dull red glow or bright red before bending?
