Thanks
I forgot about adding the ladder bars into the equation

I'd assume when just using leafs you'd want some more forward movement, correct?

Sorry to hijack Randy
I'll buy you a when I see you @ Norwalk

When the shocks are on, there is no way for the slider to bottom out in any direction. Works very smooth. Way better than the shackle mess.

Stopped by Jake's Automotive today, and talked to Gary. He's going to re-mount my rear shackles..and check my pinion angle. Can't believe how crazy-busy they are over there! His parking lot was filled to capacity!...that's a GOOD thing! If this does knock off .1...I'll be VERRRY happy! Thanks for ALL your help..and pictures, guys! That's what makes Moparts members the BEST!!!

This in mine! I thought they were suppose to be straight up. I also have a hole in front of the one I am using. Would I be better off in the front hole?

Matt..from what the "experts"(Jake & Mr. P-Body)are telling me...the shackle should be at least 30* angle for the spring to work correctly! Not sure if more angle is better or not? Might want to use that existing hole! I would!

Yes it should have the top leaning forward... if you
were to lift the body you shackle will run out of
travel vs if the top was forward... also if its too
far forward it will bottom out on the rear when the
spring goes into compression/jounce... so more isnt
necessarily better

Can I get some "Real World" opinions...from the actual experience of correcting a "neautral" angle(straight up and down)to a "corrected" angle of 30 degrees forward(top of shackle)? I'm VERY curious as to the difference it made in the 60' times! I am talking about Super Stock springs. My angle is at this position because I'm using the 002/003 A-Body springs on my '69' GTX....and apparently the rear attaching point has to be moved forward 1-1/1/2" Thanks in advance for your information! Randy B.

If you look REAL close to my sig photo you`ll see AIR and a 1.36 60 ft. THAT`S the real benefit from proper leaf spring rotation/movement. Fix the little things and big things will come.

Dom..1.36 60's for a STREET CAR is Awesome! Like Steff, yourself, and a few others have suggested,if I correct the suspension..and tweak a few things...I just might be closer to that 10.999 time slip! We'll see when the weather cools off!
