Does anyone have a source for an NORS , NOS or reproduction single exhaust Y pipe for my 73 318 Charger? I am restoring it to original...I have an NOS muffler, the tail pipe can be made easily.

I have not had any luck for my same engine, same exhaust Cuda. You would think there would be hundreds around from all the guys who converted to dual exhaust.
I may have to have one fabricated by a muffler shop.

The Y pipe has gone the way of the dodo, maybe one will get LUCKY and find one on ebarf or an OLD parts store that has some incredibly old inventory in the attic ?

If anyone knows of a "Vintage" Auto Parts store that has a good selection of exhaust inventory, please let me know! I will gladly pay a finders fee. Thanks, Bill

Been looking for years, no luck. Same year, same car. I had a guy from the local Midas muffler shop who was willing to make on, whole exhaust on his free time. That was going to be way too expensive. I am now into the header option.

Accurate Exhaust has them for the 66-74 B-body cars. Price listed is $298.

Check with Jon or Ruth at Waldron Antique Exhaust; they can make it I suspect.

Accurate is definitely building for a tiny market share, good for them.

The Accurate is not an exact reproduction. They had a scavenger style union of the two pipes. Probably works better than stock, though. I do applaud them for at least trying.

try using a y from a 2x4 truck. Those are tucked pretty tight. I would go to a pull a patr to get a cheap one first.. If it works, they are available new....

I am truckless..

I would suspect it's the same for E-body and I've been looking for one for a while, too. (Like you, I figured there'd be a ton of them in folk's garages, saved from dual conversions. Apparently, not everyone is at the same level of hoarding as I am.)

Anyway, I bought a new Y-pipe for Ramcharger (mid-80's?) thinking it would be similar. NOPE, not even close or usable. $80 lesson learned.
