DragDart360 OP mopar D Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 492 South Jersey, NJ	After two month of chasing parts (Mostly due to my frugal ways) I have them all in one place and the 408 will be completely assembled, in the car and running this weekend! Plan on doing a break in run on the engine, then to track on Tuesday. Specs: 408, 264/268@50 solid roller, 1.6 roller rockers, 11 to1 comp. Holly 750 Dominator, 1 5/8 headers. ( I have 1 7/8 headmans to be installed soon.) 10 X 29 Hoosiers and 3.91 gears with a TF 904. 2850 race wt. Looks like the weather will be in the high 80's. Any guesses as to what it will run? 340_Dart top fuel Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,745 Maryland	My 408 is somewhat similar except for heads and headers and runs from 10.teens to 10.30s so I'm going to guess yours will run 10.40-10.50 range

Spun pretty good out of the hole. 60 foot was just a little better than the old engine. Well done Mick The car weighed 2880 on the E-town scales, with the difference in the iron heads vs. aluminum I'd say 2850 lbs. Car spun off the line, 60' was 1.535 only a .011 better than the best with the old combo. I think there's still a lot on the table waiting to be picked up one crum at a time We were the first car with slicks down the track after drying from a light rain and I don't think a lot of effort went into track prep given the probability of more rain I had one of these on my face when I got the time slip.
