EVENTUALLY ? ...

How do they ship this stuff without it getting banged/bent-up ? ...and the shipping costs being sky-high. .... I can see how they might(I shipped fragile and large parts for years) .... but the packaging could be huge and complex.

I got mine from Fine Lines. Bought them at the Nat's but didn't have a way to get them home. They shipped them to me for free.

Fine Lines sells on E-bay too.
Not sure if it's any cheaper to buy there.

I got right stuff stainless brake lines in my demon. It needed a little tweaking but all the interesting bends and lengths were right on. It came in a couple pieces with brass unions for ease of installation and shipping in a pretty big box (think radiator box, not 50" flatscreen tv box)

I really like the idea that the lines will not need to be done again in a few years with the salt they put down in Philly winters

Yes, shipping was only $14.95 to you. But try sending them back and you'll find out it's more like $85 or $90 for the same box. I was going to return some transmission lines I ended up not using, and found it would cost more to ship than the refund I would get.
