I have these factory steel shim head gaskets that been hanging in my garage for a long time. I know that they are small bock ones, but what motor do they go to?
When buying the aftermarket ones. It seems like there is one small block head gasket for all displacements, but the factory had separate part numbers for each.
Does anyone know what these gaskets go to?
Also notice the "notch" along the outer edge of the gasket. Aftermarket ones don't seem have that cutout. The part number that is stamped on them is 3512719

I just posted a question about those gaskets, i wanted to find some to use in my 318 build. I pistons are down .070 in the bore.

I think they were for 318's. the notch I don't know. allot of headgaskets were for 318's and 360's
