IF and thats a BIG IF I put it on,would only be 150hp anyway.

I would not worry in all honesty, but thats just me

If i recall your were very worried about if you should or should not resize your rods. You will stress over that but will have no problem putting nitrous on whatever motor? Come on man !

I have put nitrous on an old motor I didn't know much about it, but I didn't care. It worked and it worked for a good amount of time but it was not the same motor when it was done.

Mike, i wouldn't do it if I were you. You have to much work into it to mess it up now. You haven't even been able to make your first trip to the track and your already trying to blow it up . Get some runs on it then maybe tear it down and adjust the gaps for nitrous.

my rods were never resized lol...ARP bolts torque cycled a couple times...no machine work done on my motor and its running good now

follow the headed warnings as it regards to kb hypers..
the pistons can handle 250 imho..
but if the rings arent clearenced for nitrous..
(and its a big gap so iam sure they arent set up that way) then definately dont do it.
ive butted them adn lifted the top of a piston with a bad tune and we supposedly had the correct added gap.
it only removed a small piece the size of a chicklet gum...but the piece closed teh plug and caused a dead cyl.. i was thankful for this as
we pulled the head..and there was no other damage on this inncodent.
but it wasnt the only catostophic failure in all the yrs running no2 in this motor...
it is still running today fwiw..

Mike all my data is based off pill size ive been told a .63 no2 jet is 150 hp?
if i compute et/mph to the weight it says 158hp increase?

Good idea! They are just not the right pistons for an NOS motor. Besides the ring gap issue, those pistons are not very detonation tolerant - yes, don't ask me how I know.
