I want to think that its done but I know it never will be. The engine is a 426 and the trans is a 727. Going to race at Magnolia or down at Pacemakers. Magnolia is alot closer.

Looks great! What kind of carpet is that? I like Magnolia, and it's only 40 minutes from my house.

Was the carpet done by a trim shop or did you handle it yourself? Looks nice.

If I were you I would go to the track on Saturday night, you will get at least 3 runs and the track prep will be way better than TNT.

Nice job on the carpet, how did you get it to lay down like that? I need to do mine and it would be nice to be able to just order up some stuff that would turn out like that.

Thanks everybody!
I got the carpet at the local Amish Upholstery shop. It's really light and doesn't have any backing on it so it has some stretch to it. I used about 5 cans of spray adhesive and 6 hours later it was done. All one piece. I would hate to have to do that for a living. But i was glad when that was done. Made a dash cover with what was left over.

The section of carpet I got was 80"x120" and had about 4" left over on the sides.

I did. Took 6 painstaking hours. Of all the things done on this car I think that sucked the most.

Looked at the bill today for the carpet and it's called flexform. It was around $19 a yard. Glad we went with this stuff.

Todd, I'm assuming you had to cut the carpet at the tight drops in the floor. If so did you sew it back together or just glue it to the floor pan?

The only cuts that were made was at the shifter and at the roll cage. Glued it to down and streached it to fit from the center out.
