I have a 1995 Stratus with the V6 an auto transmission with 130,000. I thought I would change the tranny fluid and filter. Is this something that can be done at home? Do you just drop the pan, and unscrew filter and reverse with new stuff (like a 727)?

Any input would be appreciated.

How much fluid do you add after this?

drop the pan, pop the filter off, ( it just snaps on )

I loosen the valve body to let it drain even more.

clean the pan lip - use black RTV to reseal the pan and refill. done

do NOT use a gasket on the pan,, it will leak .

should take maybe 5 qts to refill it
