Basicly it's one of the 2001 24hr Le Mans LMP engines. 180* crankshaft.. I have a crank to make yours sound like that!
I have no idea what that is, just not up on Lemans stuff. Ya it does have a different sound to it .. whats the crank deal?

Very cool ride along... gets your attention when you fly by the slower cars(some REALLY SLOW) and you dont know if they are going high or low when your closing in on them by 50 mph or better ... great ride

That's one great Dart! I've always loved the sound of the LMP cars. I picked up a copy of Speed Tribe awhile back & it uses the footage of the 2001 24hr mixed with techno soundtrack, Pretty sweet...

There are several, the most obvious being it needs only 2 counterweights and is consequentially lighter and therefore can make more power and be more responsive. I think it also changes the torque curve but I can't remember in what way.
OK thanks !

A 180° Crankshaft is lighter. Mine is 17.1 Kg so 37.7 Lbs. It rev quicker and it's suposed to deliver more horsepower.
Also, any change in piston or rod weight do no disturb balancing...
