Is there some R5/P7 motors with superchargers out there? As we know couple of R5/P7 motors have been built with turbochargers ( Jesel truck etc. )but how about supercharger?
Whats the benefits or disadvantages of useing supercharger not turbos?
Supercharger seems to make better low end toruqe what race application turbo cant do. Also supercharger dont have lag issues etc.
Steve Morris is ofcorse outstanding guy in superchargers and blown-through carb motors where to ask same questions, but your thoughts is nice to hear also

Thanks
Georg

A turbo sized correctly for the application will spool quickly enough to make plenty of low end boost and not have any lag issues. There's absolutely no excuse to have lag problems with a modern turbo car. If you're building a R5/P7 motor, I doubt "low end torque" is too much of a concern anyway.

A turbo also has more power potential, less parasitic loss, and is generally less expensive than a comprable supercharger.
