what carb did you put in it? the new gas has more alcohol in it, and boils off faster. the new carbs arent made with the same metal as older ones, and they conduct heat, instead of reflecting it. i had this issue after adding an edelbrock carb to my lrx. a phenolic spacer and looking for real gas, with no alcohol, was the solution.
