Only 7 ft-lbs less torque at peak than a Mopar M1 single plane, but about 40 less horsepower at 6000 RPM, which makes a lot of sense since there's a giant chunk of aluminum in the runners...






But most of the other dual planes in that test make more HP and torque at roughly the same RPM.

Look at the DP4B for example, 20 lb/ft MORE at 100RPM LESS than the dual port, AND 33hp more at the same RPM.
IMO it isn't worth messing with. Yeah you could port it a little and make it better, but you could also port and improve one of the better intakes.
