The engine would make a great core for a 451/496/512 stroker. The transmission would be a good core also. I believe the spindles/front brakes would swap although some would be concerned about the taller spindles vs original.

If you want AC and a high output alternator the 100 A "big case" alternator setup it probably has works great... just a bit heavy. If you aren't using AC there are lighter options.

I used the block from a '78 Cordoba for a 496 stroker in a Challenger. I also used the big alternator - after I found the small case wasn't enough for my application.
