I used to work at tune up shops, and a number of them offered fuel induction cleaning. Rather than get the engines hot then change plugs, we would tune the car then run the stuff through. I also changed a LOT of plugs and saw new defects and how the old ones held up more than most people.

I prefer Autolite, had too many problems with Champion. NGKs are darn good plugs too.
Bosch platinum if you are going to leave them in for 80K (I don't recommend it on older stuff, but people do it.)
